<\/a> In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 7, 2019 No. PP-4354 \u201dOn further improvement of information and library services for the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan», the Yashnabad District Information and Library Center was established. The Director of the Center is Atayeva Yahshigul Rabbimovna. The Center operates on the basis of its charter and rules of use of the information and library center, as well as the law of April 13, 2011 No. 280 «On Information and Library activities». Today, AKM has 16.25 full-time employees and 16 employees. <\/a>There are 6 sections in the center, of which:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Administrative and managerial personnel; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Information and Bibliographic service; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Fund replenishment, Storage and Processing Service; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Subscriptions and user service; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Information and Communication Technologies and Digitization Service; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Technical and maintenance personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Yashnabad district Information and Library Center, work is being carried out to promptly meet the information needs of the population, increase interest in the book and reading culture. At the same time, first of all, special attention is paid to the study of readers’ demand. Through the distribution of questionnaires, the center determines the wishes of users. On this basis, work is also carried out on the configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These days, the work carried out by the library staff on the new organization of librarianship, the widespread use of modern information technologies deserves attention. In particular, developing marketing activities in the center,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

regular placement of e-books, audiobooks, fairy tale books, videos, articles, news has been established. You can get this information if you are a member of our website. The original version of the books is also recommended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a> The KARMAT-U software in the center allows the user to quickly find the necessary literature in the reference book. This program has created a full-text electronic library of information resources for 6,701 items, an electronic catalog of information resources for 11281 items. If the studied resource is not in the library collection, we get it from the websites of other libraries, for example, the National Library of Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, the center contains 101,535 books and various information and reference materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our activities carried out locally to improve the culture of reading among the population, especially young people, by concluding contracts with mahallas, schools of our district to conduct cultural and educational work, also give high results. For example, within the framework of the \u201cMa’rifat karvoni\u201d, «Ertakterapiya», «Sirli kutubxonada», «Bir asar tarixi», «Yo’l-yo’lakay», «Kitobxon onalar», «Men tavsiya qilaman», «Ma’rifatparvar jadidlar» events, literary and artistic evenings \u201cBuyuklar yodi\u201d, \u201cAlisher Navoiy asarlari meros muqaddas\u201d, \u201cQalbimizda mangu siymolar\u201d, \u201cZulfiya zamondoshlari xotirasida\u201d, \u201cO\u2019zbekning Zulfiyasi\u201d, \u201cKitobxon yoshlar-yurt kelajagi\u201d, \u201cKitob mutolaasi — muvaffaqiyat kaliti\u201d, «Mutolaaga chorlaymiz» nomli adabiy-badiiy kechalar, \u201cBuyuk shoir nazmining navosi\u201d, \u201cBobur kabi seving Vatanni\u201d, \u201cBahor keldi seni so\u2019roqlab\u201d, \u201cKitob-ma\u2019naviyatimizning xazinasi». Among them are book exhibitions entitled \u201dThe Book is the treasury of our spirituality\u201d, presentations of the novel \u201cNavoi\u201d Musa Tashmukhammad Oybek, the book «E\u04b3tirom » dedicated to Zulfiyahonim, organization of mobile libraries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special attention is paid to the professional development of the center’s employees. There is a \u201cSchool of a young specialist\u201d, covering all areas of information and library activities, teaching our employees professional secrets.
