Socio-economic, in particular, scientific education and the development of culture in any country also depend on the ability to quickly obtain the necessary information in various areas. At the same time, the improvement of library activities, that is, the introduction of modern information technologies into the industry, gives the intended results. Based on the decision of the first President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, I. A. Karimov, dated June 20, 2006, “On the organization of information and library support for the population of the republic,” our library was equipped with computer equipment and connected to local information networks. National information resources, an electronic information base and an electronic library were created. The basis of the virtual library is the integrated and automated information system Karmat-U.
All computers are connected to the Internet, the local educational and information search network “Ziyonet”. And they are put to good use. The IBC has established a website, and the fact that the IBC website is constantly updated with the latest news is becoming increasingly important to meet the needs of students and faculty. All the possibilities of the information world are mainly gathered in libraries, where users can use information collected in the library or deleted. Conditions have been created for the IBC to function with high efficiency and for all segments of the population to be able to use it freely.
The virtual library network enabled its participants to create their own local electronic system, their own catalogs and databases. When searching and selecting documents from the IBC foundation, readers are advised by Experts. In order to increase the efficiency of reading among readers and increase the number of readers, monthly presentations of new literature and bibliographic reviews are conducted among IBC users and the general public. The introduction of information and communication technologies into library activities has led to the fact that today our information and resource center is actually becoming an information center.
The use of information in the information resource center not only in printed works, but also in electronic form, electronic books, multimedia products allows today’s user to quickly and conveniently find the information he needs using an electronic search program, copy the necessary information documents, use a computer independently, print information on a printer, receive orders for preparing presentations on for example, to process documents in electronic form. We got the opportunity to create an electronic version of the document by copying it to media, prepare slides, establish friendly relations with other countries via the Internet, and exchange information among ourselves.
Using information technology, providing systematic and independent education for users, widely promoting national spiritual and moral values and enjoying the cultural and historical heritage of the people, creating opportunities for creative growth of a spiritually rich and harmoniously developed personality, IBC staff, as broad propagandists of local history literature, provide close assistance in understanding their country. The IBC has a special reading room equipped with technical facilities for users, effectively serving readers with 19 computers, 2 scanners, 7 printers, and copiers.

The IBC has a subscription and a reading room. In the reading room, “O’zb.Respublikasi Prezidenti risola va farmonlari”, Maqolalarning sistemali kartotekasi, “O’lkashunoslik”, “Bizning buyuk ajdodlar”, “Yil nomi”, “Yashnobod tuman muassasalarining faktografik”, thematic book exhibitions such as “Ma’lumotnoma – bibliografik nashrlar fondi” , “Ma’naviyat va ma’rifat”, “A.Temur millat iftixori”, “Inson huquqlarga oid adabiyotlar”, “Kitob-tafakkur gulshani”, “O’lkam mening – oltin beshigim”, “Xorijiy adabiyotlar” and periodicals with an exhibition dedicated to the year are placed in a convenient place for readers.
